Our customers arrive in Scotland from all over the world and from very different backgrounds. Our tours can become very diverse and culturally rich, not only from learning about the culture and heritage of Scotland, but also from the nationalities present within each group.

From private groups to individuals, everyone is welcome on our tours (children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult).

Our tours do have an educational element in relation to the places visited, culturally and environmentally. They are also fairly active with leisurely walks enjoyed within the countryside.

Our tours can be conducted in English or German. Whilst this doesn’t cover all nationalities, every effort will be made to ensure that each customer experiences an informative and interesting tour.

Wild Green Travel is a small tour company established in Edinburgh since 1997. We like to provide our clients with a genuine scottish experience by taking our time to meet locals and explore the back roads of Scotland. 

We like to share the best Scotland has to offer in terms of local produce, local knowledge and great places to eat and stay.

We have a Green Tourism Silver Award and we endeavour to make our tour operations as environmentally and economically sustainable as possible.

In 2005 with the English Language Consultancy were awarded the Tourism Innovation Development Award for the development of English Language Journey's through Scotland. We were awarded the 'Most effective stand personnel' at the VisitScotland expo and are members of VisitScotland, the Federation of Small Businesses and Wildlife Scotland.

In the office we have Charlie Cornelius, Managing director since establishing the company in 1997. Charlie takes a tour every other weekend. We have a small select group of experienced tour guides who look after clients for the other tour departures.
